The final year of my degree happened to fall in 2017, the year Hull was enjoying its UK City of Culture status. To celebrate this, Stagecoach decided to have a competition to design one of their double decker buses. The brief was to convey the city in a positive light. 

I teamed up with my Mike, my now business partner at Above the Fold Creative and we came up with the below concept. I wanted to showcase some of the city's overlooked architecture, while also expressing the creativity and joy that Hull was feeling during its year as UK City of Culture. 

Together, we presented the concept to a panel of Stagecoach directors and ended up winning the competition. I worked on the project until completion, helping out at editing stage, printing and application of the vinyl onto the bus.
